About Us

I founded Red Goose Solutions L.L.C. in September 2018, and I have loved every minute of being a business owner and serving my clients. I wanted to start my own business many years ago, so this was a dream come true.

I came up with the name Red Goose Solutions back in 2010. I wanted a name that meant something to me, without it being my personal name:

Red

Growing up in Fredericksburg, Iowa - a town of 1,000 people - my neighbors, the Anderson family, called me Red. Susie even made me a personalized ornament with my nickname for Christmas one year.

Obviously, I have red hair. We redheads are a special group. ;)

And, I simply like the color red. I love bright colors and even worked at Target for a few years - as Executive Team Leader of Human Resources, and then managing a couple of Target Optical stores.

Goose

This is a play on my last name Gesing. When people ask how to pronounce it, I tell them it’s a long e like geese. While sometimes annoying, geese are persistent animals who make their presence known. I work hard for my clients to make their presence known, albeit in a much more positive way.

Solutions

Anyone can identify a problem. That’s the easy part. Solutions are sometimes sticky and difficult, but yet the most fun and rewarding part of what I do. I enjoy finding solutions to problems, large or small.

I work with the assistance of my two rescue dogs, Percy Power and Gemma Louise. I adopted Percy from the Muscatine Humane Society on Mother’s Day 2014, and I adopted Gemma from Agape Fosters in February 2018. Percy takes a special interest in Zoom meetings and bank deposits. Gemma performs office security and assists in marketing efforts.

We currently serve clients in Washington, D.C., across the state of Iowa, and here in our hometown of Davenport. We would love to work with you too!
